Free Write Friday

Kellie Elmore and her Free Write Friday has dropped in my lap today, a short thought for the coming Halloween.

Blood moon fulfilling
nothing of a vampires lust.
For that there is you.

Tonight there is a penumbral lunar eclipse, I’m going to try to get a picture, check back to see how it goes.

  1. “For that there is you.” isn’t that the truth! Be careful out there, I love this! Simple yet speaking a warning to all, great take on the prompt! Thanks for sharing!

    1. It’s all harking back to the original Vampire movies and the idea of good and evil within us all. The history of Vampires is not a loved up cool angst we see these days and I wanted to go back. The line is just a beware, there are people out there who do not want to do us good.

As for the picture, no – the cloud cover was almost complete so nothing to see in my part of the world except some red shaded clouds.

Thanks for dropping by and for your question. Feel free to visit again and chat some more,

      1. Thanks Jim, that was fairly close to what I thought the line meant. Thanks for the explanation – sorry to hear about your pictures. Hope you enjoyed the red cloud experience though, maybe next year.
